Dear Students, Families and Friends of St John’s,

In this season of Advent, the acts of giving and receiving are at the very heart of Christmas and, this year, our students and staff have participated in many activities, which have supported individuals both within and beyond our learning community.

On behalf of all the Governors and staff at St John’s, I would like to wish you and your families a very happy and peaceful Christmas.

Best wishes,

Come and join the Great Advent Windows Christmas Stories and Carols Walk on Monday 24 December

Dear Parent/Carer,
St John’s is delighted to offer for sale this year’s winning designs from the House Christmas Card Competition. These cards come for sale in packs of 5 (1 design per pack), at a cost of £3 per pack. The house that sells the most cards will win the competition for their house, however all the money raised will go back into funding the school’s house enrichment activities. I hope you will support our students and their houses for this fantastic cause.

Year 9 Art students are taking part again in this year's Advent Windows in Bishop Auckland. Their window depicts a Christmas Story from Peru, Tell Me Bright Stars, and will be unveiled by Peruvian Glover Romero on Friday 7 December at 11.00am at the Town Hall. Do come along and support our young artists as well as our small group of musicians who will be playing!
