Year 11 Prom - Friday, 2 July 2010 at Hallgarth Manor
As you may know we have organised a Year 11 Prom to celebrate the end of the main examination period and to reward the Year 11 students for all of their hard work and effort with coursework and revision. The Prom will be held at Hallgarth Manor, Pittington, County Durham on Friday, 2 July 2010 (7.00 - 11.30pm).
The cost of this event will be ?20. If your son/daughter wishes to attend this event please complete the attached form and return it, along with their payment by Friday, 21 May 2010 at the latest.
The Year 11 Prom is always a truly memorable and enjoyable occasion providing an opportunity for students to reminisce about their time at St John?s. As a school we would like the event to be a positive celebration and we ask you, as supportive parents, to ensure that your child is on his/her best behaviour. Students who have not behaved appropriately at school will not be allowed to attend the event. Alcohol is not allowed at the event and any poor behaviour will not be tolerated. With this in mind, we ask that you provide the school with an emergency telephone number in case a problem arises regarding your son/daughter during the course of the evening.
We hope you understand our reasons for these precautions and we envisage that each and every student will have a wonderful time at this celebration. Please complete the attached reply slip and return it together with the payment to Mrs Stephenson.
