Election of Officers

It gives me great pleasure to attach the report on the Catholic Life of St John's Catholic School & Sixth Form Centre and Curriculum Religious Education, following the Diocesan Inspection which took place on 8 & 9 June 2010.

Yet again, you will see that the school achieved an outstanding report which reflects the strong partnership which exists between home, school and parish.

As you may know we have organised a Year 11 Prom to celebrate the end of the main examination period and to reward the Year 11 students for all of their hard work and effort with coursework and revision. The Prom will be held at Hallgarth Manor, Pittington, County Durham on Friday, 2 July 2010 (7.00 - 11.30pm).

Dear Parents and carers,

I'd like to introduce myself as the appointed Family Worker at St Johns. At this time when students in year 6 will soon be making the transition to Secondary school, I appreciate it can feel like a daunting time.
